Ruchulu (literarily means "The Tastes of Rayalaseema") was founded in
2003 by a team of young entrepreneurs originating from the region with a mission
to; "Introduce
the connoisseurs of cosmopolitan Hyderabad to the authentic and spicy culinary
delights of the Rayalaseema cuisine which has its own distinctive taste, taking
all necessary steps to ensure strong presence of home touch."
Over the years Rayalaseema
Ruchulu has grown into a chain comprising of
3 restaurants
at Hyderabad. We serve ethnic culinary delights of Rayalaseema
to gourmets at Ameerpet, Jubilee
Hills and Lakdi
ka pul, . Each restaurant has a capacity to serve over 150 guests at any point
in time with add-on services in tastefully decorated air-conditioned environment
that depicts the culture of the region. Times
Food Guide adjudged Rayalaseema Ruchulu as best restaurant in the category
of regional cuisine successively for three calendar years 2009 , 2010 and
2011 
It is only after globalization
of India that the world is truly appreciating the amazing diversity of cuisine
that Indian society offers. Despite the similarity of spices and staples used
in different regions of our country, the recipes and preparation processes differ
so much that each cuisine stands out in its own classification with respect to
taste, appearance and serving style. Carte
du jour at Rayalaseema Ruchulu, amongst its several dishes also include regional
specialties like Kamju Vepudu (Quail), Brain fry, Liver fry, Natu Kodi Pulusu,
Chapala Pulusu, Gutti Vankaya, Bakshalu and Prawn Iguru, which are served in combination
with regional breads (rotis) like Sajja or Jonna (Jawar) rotis and Raagi sankati
etc for an authentic feel of Rayalaseema robustness. Age-old
recipes, complex methods, select spices, fresh native herbs, a lot of red chillies
and tender and prime meat cuts constitute the main food ingredients in the restaurant.
All ingredients are fresh, hand picked and authentic and conform to high standards
of quality. A team of well trained and experienced chefs from Rayalaseema man
the kitchens and churn out the gourmet's delights day-in-day-out without compromising
